The walls in our house are feeling a little bare. I've got projects aplenty - I'll soon post the set of silhouettes I did of me and husband and our 3 felines, as well as the makeover of a craigslist mirror for above the fireplace - but also a bunch of print cravings thanks to my online browsing. a year of weddings

Our fridge is covered with save the date cards, and so far eight weekends on our 2009 calendar are marked for weddings. We are really excited to celebrate with all of these wonderful friends, but what to wear? Even though we'll likely be seeing some of the same folks at these celebrations, I doubt they'll judge us for needing to recycle some outfits. Who has enough semiformalwear? If these shindigs were all black tie, I'd be set (seriously, this is the seldom-publicized outcome of attending a college where formal events outnumbered statutory holidays). In spite of eating more than my fair share of Christmas cookies, I felt compelled to make some more to celebrate the new year. New year wishes are sweeter when articulated as sugar cookies with icing on top, right?
